There are many powers of the google talk which lay unhidden, some of them are awesome, really awesome. For example you can now scrap from inside talk to orkut users, if you have many gmail accounts, you can use google talk to login to separate accounts at the same time! Its skype like interface is very handy. You can chat, email, scrap, call all from the same window. And now you can send even large files through talk! You can theme chat windows, or even display what track you are listening to on talk! And you can send formatted text also. You can quick mail a person with just one click! And for more, you can now play a game!
Scrapping on orkut 1. Go to your orkut account, and click start here on the google integration message. 2. Add your friends, and choose the settings and then you can scrap your friends from inside orkut 3 If you don't have a gmail account, you can create one.
Multiple Login 1. Right click on desktop > New > Shortcut 2. Paste this into the target box "c:\program files\google\google talk\googletalk.exe" /nomutex 3. Click next and name it whatever you want (eg. Google Tak Multiple) 4. Click OK, now open this multiple times and login multiple times! how cool is that!
Themeing chat windows Click on settings > Appearance, Now select the various chat themes.
Show off what you are listening to 1. Select Show current music track from the Available or Busy section of your status drop-down menu 2. Your friend will see the track you are listening to.
File Transfer Send any type, any size, from talk! 1. From an active chat window, click the Send Files button. Browse to the file or files you'd like to send (use CTRL-Shift to select more than one file at a time). Click OK. Google Talk will insert your file into the chat session.
